We sure kept busy during the holidays with Christmas crafts and holiday stories. We had our 5th annual "Twas The Story Time Before Christmas" pajama party. This is my favorite time of the year with the kids. To see the wonder in their eyes and the excitement on their faces. We sang christmas songs, read "Twas The Night Before Christmas". We then made "magic reindeer food" and a Christmas craft. The parents brought some yummie treats to share and we made hot chocolate with the yummies. There were goody bags with toy and treats for all the children.Then our guest of honor came to see the children, you should of seen their faces when Santa Claus came to see us! We got a lot of great pictures and one of them ended up on the front page of our local newspaper (The Independent).
The story time kids love to sing and do "The Bear Hunt" song. They ask for this song almost every week. So we went on a "Bear Hunt" in the library. The children had to find the bears(cut out) that were hiding in the children's. area of the library. They are so proud of their accomplisments.
Now we getting ready for a Valentine's Day party. We love parties and so do the kids. Well I guess that is all for now.
