Teen Read Week

National Teen Read Week (Oct. 12th - 18th) is upon us once again, and we're very excited about this year's theme: Books With Bite. The Young Adult Library Services Association, which sponsors Teen Read Week, is promoting a variety of books—from vampire stories, to cooking, to technology (Books With Byte)—to encourage young adults to read.

Teen Read Week 2008 will be celebrated at thousands of public and school libraries, classrooms, and bookstores across the country. Although many teens realize the importance of reading, they have a huge menu of activities to choose from when deciding how to spend their free time, and reading often gets lost in the shuffle. Show the world that you know reading is fun by picking up a book this week.
