Funbrarian News

With school back in full swing again, so am I. Blue Ridge keeps me very busy, which is a good thing. A busy funbrarian is a happy funbrarian. Some people get to have all the fun, That's Me! I sure love my job!
I get to read to about 1,000 children every month for Blue Ridge elementary and Mid School. Last week for the first time I had a high school Early Childhood Development Class come here for a little workshop or training on working with children. We had a blast and learned a lot too. The High School kids were great.
LOOK- We have been getting a lot of NEW CHILDREN'S BOOKS- YEAH! So be looking a the children's "New Books Shelf" at the library. A few of the new books titles are:
Beware Of The Bears
Beauty And The Beaks
Bats In The Library
The Best Halloween Ever
Frankenstien Takes The Cake
Wilbur And The Moose
Butterflies In My Stomach
and many more.
I'm not really ready but I am feeling fall in the air. I guess I'll be thinking about Halloween now. I'll get back with you on Halloween next time.
